The acquisition of GoContact by Broadvoice follows the increasing trend of merging UCaaS and CCaaS providers. Cavell Group are pleased to have provided Broadvoice with Commercial Diligence support for the transformational acquisitions of European CCaaS provider GoContact. This acquisition reflects the increasing trend we are seeing for UCaaS and CCaaS technologies provider to merge. We are also seeing Cloud businesses expand internationally and this deal represents both an opportunity for Broadvoice and GoContact to address new geographic markets.Â
Broadvoice has built a strong position in the US market, as a leading provider of UCaaS service. With this acquisition they acquire a strong CCaaS platform and a strong Iberian customer base. GoContact also has a very strong Portugese based development team which will be a real asset to the combined business.
